Maryland Area Summer Camps

Looking for an overnight summer camp close to Maryland? Look no further, Camp Tall Timbers is a traditional co-ed camp, located less than 2 hours from the DC metro area, in nearby West Virginia. Since 1970 we have been providing a safe, well-rounded camp experience for boys and girls ages 7 to 16. Our aim is to promote the physical, moral and intellectual development of every camper, through a structured program and a close-knit community. With our exquisite lakeside setting encompassing 120 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains, we give campers plenty of room to grow. Accredited by the American Camp Association, Camp Tall Timbers is picky about the quality of its counselors. We purposefully limit the size of our summer sessions to maintain a "4 to 1" camper to staff ratio. With over 40 different activities, there's never a dull moment or a bored camper.
